H&M x Erdem Launch Party and Runway Show
Back in July it was announced that H&M’s next designer collaboration would be with ERDEM. H&M also revealed that the visionary film maker Baz Luhrmann would be creating a video that would bring to life the amazing collection through his unique storytelling.
The collection launched with a runway show and launch party in Hollywood at the Wilshire Ebell Theater. Designer Erdem Moralıoğlu was on hand for the launch celebrating the collection which boasted his colorful signature florals, menswear inspired designs and fun dresses.
Erdem Moralıoğlu’s inspiration for his pieces started with photos of his mom and dad’s style in the ‘60s, Jane Birkin, David Hockney and a Pet Shop Boys’s music video “Being Boring” because it not only takes places in an English country house, but is very British.
