Check The Runway

Valentino x InStyle Cocktail Party LA

Celebs gathered at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles for a party honoring Pierpaolo Piccioli, creative director of Valentino and InStyle’s Designer of The Year recipient.  The ladies wore Valentino looks in every shade, print and amped up silhouette.

“When designers come to L.A., there’s a little bit of a weight lifted off of their shoulder, so nice to see Pierpaolo in this environment, laid back.”  Oh Kate! This tangerine SS18 Valentino gown is to die for! Kate is really enjoying herself lately with her pixie cut spotted all around town looking effortlessly cute.

Jaime King wore a black Valentino RS18 with white piping. Her bobby socks and white sandals from the runway surprisingly werked.

Gabrielle Union wore a green top and shorts with a black sandal. I didn’t really care for this Valentino RS18 look on the runway and doesn’t really live on Gabby either. Her goddess braid and smokey makeup however are beautiful. She’s is loving the sportswear she told InStyle: “It’s weird to say, but the sweatsuits, I was at the men’s show in Paris and I wanted all of the sweat suits. I’m thoroughly obsessed. I now have three in all of the colors and I Just want to collect them. Their take on the sweat suit…it’s like the couture sweatsuit.”

Portia Double wore a delicate gold, embroidered Valentino SS17 sleeveless dress with matching satin pumps. This dress is so pretty and really popped with her long locks.

Halston Sage chose a cute pastel pleated Valentino SS17 dress she wore with Rockstyle sandals.

Haley Bennett is GORG in a haute red SS18 Valentino gown. The one sleeve gown with billowing bow looked amazing with her sky high Louboutins. Her messy blonde tresses and popping red lip were the perfect compliment to her look.

Aubrey Plaza wore a colorful and cute version of a RS17 Valentino dress.

Zoey Dutch wore a black and pink floral dress with neck tie. Mandy Moore opted for a color block style dress with black and white sandals.

Kelly Oxford in AW17 Valentino a dress I just can’t figure out, pink and red lace, just not…Laura Brown however looked sporty haute in a green Valentino RS18 track suit that I loved. The sporty looks can werk if styled right and I think she hit the mark.
