Emmy’s Red Carpet – Color Punch
The Emmy’s Red Carpet was a nice blend of color and daring style. I was so glad to see some COLOR pop on the “tan carpet” showcasing some amazing style moments and eye-catching style.

Issa Rae glowed on the red carpet in an amazing custom Vera Wang, pale blue one-piece with sheer train. The beaded bodice with deep v-neckline was elegant and was what I have been wanting to see from her for a long time! She rocked this look | Regina king was the perfect punch of custom Christian Siriano in a lime green strapless column. Her figure looks amazing in anything. The light hand on the styling let the gown shine through.
Ellie Kemper was so cute in this oh so pretty J.Mendel SS19 peach ruffle, tiered, strapless gown. This was one of my favs from NYFW and it looked amazing on with a simple parted pony and drop earrings, she looked perfect.
Leslie Jones went for it in a iridescent Christian Siriano RS19 suit. I am NOT feeling this on her, it doesn’t showcase her amazing figure. The suit itself is nice but it just does nothing for her.
Allison Janey werked the carpet with glitzy perfection in a Prabal Gurung AW18 dress with matching accessories. This lady knows her angles and her figure looks amazing in anything. Keep giving them a run for their money mama!
Thandie Newton was simple chic in a pretty Brandon Maxwell SS19 gown with caplet. Thandie’s choice aren’t always my favs however, this is a perfect look for her. Her svelte figure rivals that of Gigi Hadid on the runway. Her styling was left simple and chic, come on Thandie!
Tracee Ellis Ross never disappoints with over the top voluminous couture looks. Tonight’s surprise was a GORG magenta color Valentino AW18 Couture gown. She opted for a simple up-do with pink eyes and popping lips. This girl knows how to do Couture!
Dakota Fanning was über cute and ethereal in a pretty green Christian Dior AW18 Couture gown. She wore her hair long and styled with pretty green jewelry.
