Thunderbolts Premier Red Carpet – Europe

It’s has been borrrring on the red carpets as of late.  The Thunderbolts Premier red carpet kept the trend going.

Julia-Louis Dreyfus was the highlight for me even though we have seen this look quite a bit, I think she looks great.  It’s a custom take on a Thom Browne FW24 look. I love the fitted mid skirt with the cummerbund being taken all the way up over the bust.  The styling is simple with a black patent So Kate. Not a look to write home to Mom about but it is flattering.

If the award for chic was being given I would be ok with giving Nathalie Emmanuel a vote in this bright red take on a David Koma PF25 look.  It looks good on her, and the styling is chic and a bit plain but is werks for her.

Florence Pugh is REALLY trying to bring some interest to the carpet in this Elie Saab FW24 Couture look.  I mean this is a BEAUTIFUL gown.  The lace, sparkles and stripes are so my vibe.  I even love the chiffon flower choker from the runway look.  Florence’s look however just doesn’t work.  It looks half done and the hair and makeup are too severe for this look.  Nice try…

These two looks dulled the night, sorry but no.   Hannah John-Kamen and Jodie Turner-Smith win the award for most PEDESTRIAN looks of the carpet.  What in the world? Just no, no, no.

CHECKED!
