Prince Harry Marries Meghan Markle
Prince Harry took the plunge with his US fiancé Meghan Markle today in a ceremony for the times. 2,640 people were invited to watch the wedding from inside the Castle Grounds from charities close to the couple and over 1,200 who were nominated by Lord Lieutenants. The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William acted as best man to his brother the newly named The Duke of Sussex, walking down the aisle at Castle Hill to St George’s Chapel, in their frockcoat uniform of the Blues and Royals. Just before 12pm, other members of The Royal Family including The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh, arrived at the Galilee Porch of the Chapel. The ten Bridesmaids and Pageboys then entered the Chapel’s South Door. The wedding including amazing scriptures, an over the top reverend, exciting cello player and splendid traditional African American choir, IT – WAS – AH-MAZING! Her Majesty The Queen is giving a Lunchtime Reception at St George’s Hall in Windsor Castle for around 600 guests drawn from the Wedding Service congregation. The Duchess of Sussex wore a beautiful Stella McCartney gown with high neck and flowing skirt, she also wore an Emerald cut, Aquamarine ring that belonged to Princess Diana. What an amazing looking couple, Congratulations!
