7th Annual LACMA’s Art + Film Gala LA Red Carpet
The LACMA Art + Film Gala was held in LA last night hosting luminaries from art, film, fashion, and entertainment industries. George Lucas and artist Mark Bradford were honored at the event with Eva Chow and Leonardo DiCaprio co-chairing the event for the the seventh time. With Gucci sponsoring, there were SO many of the labels looks on the red carpet Check them out!
Kerry Washington wore a black and electric aqua Gucci dress with black lace button up front and skirt detail. I loved Kerry’s straight lob and her pretty black eyeshadow and pale lips. This dress is very different as all the Gucci looks lately…I love Kerry!
Behati Prinsloo was baby bumping along in major cuteness in a green Asian print Gucci AW16 mini dress.
Petra Collins looks retro cool in lime green, bow front, keyhole Gucci RS18 dress. This look is everything. I love her poofy curls and how this dress lays so well on her.
Jane Fonda – Elie Saab | Rowan Blanchard – Gucci
Rosie Huntington-Whitley was pretty in a blue, bow front Gucci RS18 slip dress. She carried a pink Gucci clutch and work her hair parted on the side and down. She looked so pretty.
Amy Adams – Gucci PF17
Eva Chow & musician Yoshiki. Eva Chows Gucci dress is so amazing! The rich purple and snake embroidery are beautiful!
Naomi Campbell is beautiful in pale yell, beaded, one shoulder Atelier Versace. Her hair is soft and wavy with a simple middle part. Now this is the look I have been waiting for Naomi! She has been quite a risk taker lately which is just fine but this is her lane.
Mia Maestro – Gucci | Grant and Tamia Hill
Michelle Alves wore an interesting Gucci SS17 dress with very interesting details. Pineapple shoulders and parrot heads. The details on this dress are very pretty, its just not my fave for the carpet feels totally runway chic.
Jared Leto just handsome in Gucci of course.
Tamu McPherson wore a purple and orange floral Gucci AW17 dress with ruffle bottom and pearls. I actually like this dress on her! It’s not my favorite from the collection however, it looks chic on her.
Courtney Trop – Gucci PF17
Erica Pelosini went couture in Francesco Scognamiglio SS17. The dress was very pretty with sparkles and interesting chest detail and sheer bottom. I cannot help but laugh, that pout of hers!
Aisa Chow – Gucci AW17
Arvida Byström – Olya Kosterina
Zoe Saldana wore Gucci AW17, she always manages to end up on my WTH list…this is no different.
Annabelle Wallis – Christian Dior
Elizabeth Hammer wore a very cool Emilia Wickstead AW17 two toned sequin dress. I would have loved her hair up and perhaps a cool belt and different shoes with this look. Armie looked very smart in a black tux.
Hari Nef – Gucci PF17
Proceeds from the Art+Film Gala will go toward supporting LACMA’s initiative to make film more central to the museum’s curatorial programming, while also funding LACMA’s broader mission, including exhibitions, acquisitions, educational programming, and screenings that explore the intersection of art and film. The Art+Film Gala is once again made possible by Gucci’s longstanding and generous support. (http://www.lacma.org/benefit-events)
