The Metropolitan Museum of Art: the inaugural All Hallows’ Eve benefit. The dress code read “mystical costume attire.”  Co-chairs of the evening included Samantha Boardman, Wendi Murdoch, Dasha Zhukova, and Karlie Kloss.  “I’ve never done a Halloween in New York,” said Kloss “Tonight is the chic New York version of my Halloween!“ Kloss will spend her Halloween in her home town of St. Louis.

A cocktail reception in the Great Hall was cool and spook-tacular with music pounding throughout.  A candle-toting, velvet-cloaked performer from Third Rail Projects led guests to an interactive theater experience through the Met’s galleries where there was a musical performance in the 16th-century Vélez Blanco Patio and in the 18th-century Wrightsman Galleries a tarot card reading.  A séance-style gathering encouraged guests congregated into a candle ring where encircled performers whispered chants and convulsed their bodies…interesting.  Guests were encouraged not to fall victim to social media however there were some that didn’t care!
