Cannes Film Festival – Carol Photocall & Premiere

Beautiful is not enough to describe Rooney Mara and Cate Blanchett at press appearances for ‘Carol’ in Cannes.  Cate and Rooney wore Alexander McQueen AW15 and PF15 respectively.  Cate wore a detailed cutout leather jacket while Rooney wore a lace panel skater dress so sweet and chic.  Love that she opted to wear the wide leather belt from the Pre-Fall photoshoot, it added that something.

The premiere carpet was made for these ladies.  Rooney wore Olivier Theyskens for Rochas.  This gown was beyond.  Panels of soft cream organza with strong yet delicate beading cascading down into leaf detail.  JUST BEAUTIFUL!

Cate stole the Cannes carpet for me so far.  Her Giles graphic print, strapless gown was custom from the AW15 collection and there was nothing that could outshine this piece.  It looked like a work of art and Blanchett glided around the carpet in regal fashion.  Soft hair, soft make-up, minimal jewels, there is nothing more to say! ok…PERFECTION!

Cate and Rooney shared a moment in the lights on the carpet, I don’t know what they are saying, but this is an amazing shot.
