Katy Perry’s Super Bowl Cirque!

Super Bowl Sunday was not without a lot of fun and very confusing morbid commercials. Katy Perry’s halftime show was much anticipated and it did not disappoint. Her entrance was one for the books and though I am not the biggest Katy Perry fan, I am a fan of a fun fashion story and a bit of circus like glitz. Katy’s costumes were all courtesy of pop culture king Jeremy Scott who shared sketches of Perry’s Super Bowl Halftime Show changes with Style.com. From flames to stars Scott never swayed from KP’s over the top style and matched her performances to a T. Katy’s performances for me can be a bit overdone and chaotic, I don’t need all of that to get my concert fix but it was a very fun show and a lot kitschy. Dark Horse (remixed featuring Juicy J) is one of my fav songs and I did love seeing Missy Elliot perform two hits I love (Work It and Lose Control which I have danced to more than 100 times). Lenny Kravitz rocking out on Perry’s Kissed a Girl was a highlight of my month.
