2018 Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards Red Carpet

The 2018 Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards in partnership with Michael Kors, celebrated the inspirational winners of our annual awards, from writers to actresses, designers to models. “What they share is heartfelt commitment and a profound sense of sisterhood – the values that we at Bazaar also hold dear.”  The awards honored Keira Knightley, Cameron Russell, Clara Waight Keller, Florence Pugh, Gemma Arterton, Gillian Wearing, Gina Miller, Jenna Coleman, Kristin Scott Thomas, Kylie Minogue, Lauren Cuthbertson, Lily James, Sarah Waters, Susie Cave and Nicole Atieno.  Read more about them here.

Keira Knightley wore an amazing blue Givenchy SS19 dress with cool pleated skirt and ruched fanned bodice. This is the kind of dress that is made for her. It’s unique style gives a bit of a vintage vibe but yet is so modern and chic.

Amanda Seyfried looked cool in a black version of a Givenchy SS19 dress. The dress is very simple and with the striped edge detail, I liked it. Here black and white sandals were a good choice but I think her hair and makeup were more of interest than her outfit.

Jenna Coleman also chose a Mary Katrantzou SS19 dress for the carpet and it was equally as amazing. The hanging stamps are just amazing and actually look great on Jenna. Wish she would have pulled her hair into a pony but I love her choice of simple chic sandals.

Model Nicole Atieno wore an interesting purple lace Christopher Kane dress with jeweled detailed pumps. Not my favorite look for the budding model.  The underskirt was nude with showed through and kind of ruined the idea of “see through.”  Perhaps they should have chosen HER true nude and it would have werked.

Adwoa Aboah went for it in a SS19 Mary Katrantzou trapeze dress with flower print and neck tie detail. This dress is definitely a risk on any figure but Adwoa benighted super model she is, this was perfect. Mary Katrantzou doesn’t just make clothes she makes art and that is what this appreciated for.

Lily James chose a very cool Burberry SS19 dress which was so unique and fun. The polka dot and lace top paired with printed pleated skirt are daring and cool. She could have gone without the panty hose, it kind of took away from the look.

Gemma Arterton wore a show stopping long version of a gold and silver sequin Michael Kors RS19 dress. The custom design featured a one shoulder silhouette which brought the dress well into elegant.
