The 20th annual amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes, France hosted a bevy of beauties that brought their A-Game! I LOVE when there are just too many beauties to name and too many designers to praise! A word I can use to describe most of the looks was COLOR! Which I of course am so glad to see now that the sun is beaming and Spring is well upon us. First up is Selita Ebanks who looked like puffed cotton candy in pink tulle and Jimmy Choos while Alessandra Ambrosio glided like a angel in Zuhair Murad Spring 2013 Couture. Rosario Dawson and Heidi Klum however underwhelmed in Spring 2013 Vionnet and Marchesa respectively. The lovely Joan Smalls gave me the weirdest peekaboo legs in this sheer dress and sweatshirt? from Givenchy Fall 2013 not my Fav look, it was just odd looking. I was brought back to life however by Petra Nemcova who opted for sheer navy blue and sparkles from Elie Saab’s Fall 2013 collection. In plummy purple was the uber gorg Stacy Keibler, Zac Posen’s Pre-Fall 2013 satin hugged her toned figure with no apologies! Ulyana Sergeenko wore her own Spring 2013 Couture collection which channeled dairy farmer diva? No, just No for me. Luckily Milla Jovovich brightened the carpet in Valentino Spring 2013 Couture. Other starlets shining in Elie Saab were Izabel Goulart who chose sparkling, green/blue emerald from Fall 2013 and looked glammed out amaze while Irina Shayk chose a from fitting, hot pink, sleeveless, Spring 2013 frock. These ladies set that carpet ablaze with not only great gowns, but their GORG philanthropy! They and other celebrities helped to raise an estimated $25 million for AIDS research. Now that’s what I’m talkin’ about!
